Services

Psycho-Educational Assessment

We offer customizable packages of psychological assessment or comprehensive psycho-educational assessments for diagnostic and/or educational purposes, depending on your needs. All products include administration, scoring, interpretation, a written report of findings, and a one-on-one review in-person or over the phone to explain results.

Private Psycho-Educational Evaluation

Includes a complete psychoeducational evaluation, including customizable assessment areas, depending on suspected disabilities or areas of concern. This type of assessment is available to anyone with concerns about their own difficulties or their child's difficulties. This package is ideal for individuals or parents who want to do a deep dive into areas of concern related to school or vocational problems and consider possible diagnoses (i.e. Autism, learning disabilities, ADHD, Anxiety,  etc.)

Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA)

Includes a behavior analytic approach to observing patterns of behavior in a specific environment to identify the variables (triggers, consequences, function, etc.) to help teams identify a function-based treatment plan or behavior intervention plan (BIP).

Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE)

Includes a complete psychoeducational evaluation, including customizable assessment areas, depending on suspected disabilities or areas of concern. This type of assessment is available only when GLEP is contracted with your child's school district after a disagreement about an assessment completed by the district. GLEP can also complete Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), Intensive Individualized Services (SCIA), and Educationally-Related Mental Health Services (ERMHS) assessments as an IEE.

Cognitive Assessment

Includes administration of one or more standardized cognitive assessment batteries, scoring, and interpretation. 

Academic Achievement Assessment

Includes administration of one or more standardized academic achievement batteries, scoring, and interpretation.

Social/Emotional Assessment

Includes administration of one or more standardized social/emotional assessment tools, scoring, and interpretation. 

Adaptive/Self-Help Assessment

Includes administration of one or more standardized adaptive/self-help assessment tools, scoring, and interpretation.

Dyslexia Assessment

Includes both cognitive and academic achievement assessment; Focus of the assessment is to identify characteristics of Dyslexia, cognitive strengths and weaknesses, and academic strengths and weaknesses

Autism Assessment

Includes both cognitive, adaptive, and social/emotional assessment; Focus of the assessment is to diagnose or rule out a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder with a school-based or vocational focus. Additional information will include cognitive strengths and weaknesses and adaptive/self-help skills and needs.

Other types of assessment may be available upon request.


Consultation

Consultee-driven in-person, telephone, or virtual consultation support for families and/or providers

IEP Consultation

For Families-One hour consultation to review IEP documents, evaluations, and provide information and guidance to families.

Home Behavior Support

For Families-One hour consultation to provide behavioral strategies and supports to families in need of in-home behavior support.

Case Consultation

For Practitioners-One hour consultation to review a case and provide guidance regarding assessment strategies, tools, and approach for a case.


Training

Customizable district or school-based training for teachers, psychologists, admin, and/or other service providers. The following services are samples; training topics are not limited to the following categories.

MTSS Training

Training for district or school-based teams to develop framework for multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS), including, tiers 1, 2, and/or 3.

Assessment Training

Training for district or school-based teams to develop skills in comprehensive assessment using best practices in special education and school psychology.

Educationally-Related Mental Health Services Training

Training for district or school-based teams to develop skills in assessment, goal writing, progress monitoring, and provision of ERMHS services.

Other services may be available upon request and approval of GLEP staff
